Once-off qualifying question for first time players:

Customers sending their nine letters to 32082 for the first time will receive a simple multi-choice question that must be answered correctly to qualify to play the game.

The customer only needs to answer the question correctly once in order to play as many times as they like thereafter.

Once this question is answered correctly his/her entries will be accepted for that specific weekly draw and the customer can carry sending his/her entries to Yebo Millionaires week after week.

The qualifying once-off question is:

“On which TV channel can you watch Vodacom Yebo Millionaires?”

1) SABC 1,

2) SABC 2 or

3) SABC 3?

Reply: 1 (just press reply on your cellphone and type 1)

The customer will be in the game forever and do not have to answer the qualifying question again.

Once the qualifying question is answered correctly, the customer will receive a confirmation SMS containing the letters that were entered as well as a reference number. The SMS will include the date of the draw.

This once-off qualifying question applies to all three entry options.

In the event customers answer the question incorrectly they will receive an SMS indicating that they needs to answer the qualifying question correctly before they can enter the game. If customers continue sending the incorrect answer to the qualifying question they will continue receiving this message until they finally succeed to answer it correctly. Only the first incorrect message are free as customers receive two free SMSs to play every week. After two incorrect SMSs the customer will be charged R1.00 per message.

If the qualifying question is incorrect the customer’s Yebo Millionaires entries will not be consider into the draw.

Entries sent where the qualifying question is not answered within the current draw period will be disregarded once the current draw is done on the system and the customer will be re-prompted to answer the qualifying question on their next entry (after the current draw).

Entries close at 12h00 every Tuesday, the day of the draw. A random selection mechanism is used to choose the nine winning letters and the weekly results are audited by Vodacom's independent auditors. The winning letters will be revealed on a televised game show that takes place on SABC 1 on Tuesdays just before 18h30 (after the Bold and the Beautiful).

A customer who has a nine letter match can win R1 million, those who have an eight letter match can win R200 000, for a seven letter match customers will receive R29.00 airtime and for a six letter match customers will receive R12.00 airtime. Vodacom Contract customers who win airtime can nominate a Prepaid number to receive the airtime. Ten LG cellphones are given away during the weekly lucky draw and a Toyota Yaris is given away in a monthly lucky draw on the last Tuesday of every month.

Please note that all cash prizes (nine letter and eight letter matches) are shared between the winners of a specific draw. This means that in the event of more than one winner of a nine or eight letter match, the winner will share the million Rand or the R200 000 with other winners for that specific draw.
